Procedure Deposit, Payment, Cancellation & No-Show Policy
At Lee Hair Restoration, significant time, staff scheduling, and surgical preparation are required to properly prepare for each patient’s procedure. In order to provide the highest level of care and reserve dedicated surgical time for every patient, the following policies apply to all scheduled procedures.
Procedure Deposit Requirement
To reserve and secure a procedure date, a deposit equal to twenty percent (20%) of the total procedure cost is required at the time of scheduling.
This deposit secures physician scheduling, surgical staff allocation, facility preparation, administrative planning, and reserved operating time associated with your procedure.
Final Payment Requirement
The remaining balance for your procedure is due in full no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to your scheduled procedure date.
Failure to submit final payment by this deadline may result in cancellation or rescheduling of your procedure date.
Deposit Policy
All procedure deposits are non-refundable.
However, if a patient elects to cancel their procedure, the deposit amount will not be forfeited. Instead, the deposit will remain on the patient’s account as a credit toward future goods or services provided by Lee Hair Restoration.
Eligible uses of deposit credit may include, but are not limited to:
- Future hair restoration procedures
- PRP or regenerative medicine treatments
- Hair loss prevention medications
- Physician-recommended products and services
Deposit credits must be used within twelve (12) months from the date of cancellation. Any unused credit remaining after twelve (12) months will expire and be forfeited.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation More Than Seven (7) Days Prior to Surgery
Any payments made beyond the initial 20% deposit will be fully refunded.
The 20% deposit will remain on the patient’s account as credit for future goods or services for up to twelve (12) months.
Cancellation Within Seven (7) Days of Procedure
A $750 cancellation fee will be deducted from funds previously paid to the practice.
Remaining funds will remain on the patient’s account as credit for future goods or services for up to twelve (12) months.
Cancellation Within Seventy-Two (72) Hours of Procedure
A $1,000 cancellation fee will be deducted from funds previously paid to the practice.
Remaining funds will remain on the patient’s account as credit for future goods or services for up to twelve (12) months.
No-Show Policy
Failure to appear for a scheduled procedure without prior notice creates substantial loss to the practice due to reserved physician time, surgical staff scheduling, operating room preparation, and the inability to offer the reserved time to another patient.
If a patient fails to appear for surgery without prior notice, twenty percent (20%) of the total scheduled procedure cost will be retained by Lee Hair Restoration as a no-show fee.
Any remaining funds paid beyond the retained amount will remain on the patient’s account as credit toward future goods or services for up to twelve (12) months.
A new deposit may be required in order to schedule any future procedure.
Rescheduling Policy
Patients may reschedule their procedure with a minimum of seven (7) days advance notice without penalty.
Rescheduling requests made within seven (7) days of the scheduled procedure date will incur a $500 rescheduling fee, which will be deducted from funds already paid to the practice.
Exceptions
Lee Hair Restoration reserves the right to review and make exceptions in cases involving:
- Medical concerns
- Physician discretion
- Emergency situations
- Other extraordinary circumstances determined by the practice
